National Dental Hygienists Week
This week is National Dental Hygienists Week. A Dental Hygienist plays a very important role in the dental field. Not only do they assist you with keeping a bright, clean smile, but they are also educators. Dental Hygienists work in various practice settings and also play great roles in the community. Many Hygienists volunteer for various associations in the community and are involved in educating the population on oral health care. This week is set aside annually to recognize the many wonderful attributes of those involved in this profession. I know I love my Hygienist.
